Hair care
Do be careful at all times. This is just my own experience and that of many other Sasha collectors. No-one knows for sure how these materials with behave as time passes.
The dolls'hair can be brushed gently, preferably with a metal brush with smooth thin wires that can be obtained from a doll supply shop. Do not use a brush made for animals.
Kanekalon and nylon rooted hair. Can be washed gently with a very mild safe product. Keep the doll upside down to make sure no water gets in the body. Dry as much as you can but avoid hairdryers.
Some early dolls, both Gotz and Trendon tend to have "falling hair" because the strands tend to become brittle over time. It seems to affect most early Trendon and Gotz Brunette and redhair but can happen to most early dolls.
It seems that dolls who are played with and/or kept in a way air can circulate around tend not to be affected as badly as dolls kept in confined airless spaces.
Wigs: Velvet and Prince have wigs made this type of material. Do avoid getting the wig cap wet.

Human hair .Kiltie, Princess and pintuck from the limited serie dolls have human hair wigs therefore the utmost care should be taken when cleaning. Brush very gently as the hair can become brittle with age. It can be "fed" with a vitamin/protein hair spray conditioner but take care to do it in small batches without wetting the wig cap. Trying to remove the wig to clean it can do more damage than good.
Should your doll lose her hair you can always get a replacement wig from a doll's wig company as for bjd. (Monique for example). Some people will also reroot you doll.
